The General Manager’s Roll allows a corporate body that owns or occupies land in the Burnie municipality to have a single vote towards Burnie’s local government elections by nominating one person to vote on its behalf. This person can be nominated to represent the organisation regardless of whether they live in the local government municipality or not.
To enrol for the General Manager’s Roll, you must complete a Corporate Body Enrolment Form, which is available at Burnie City Council’s webpage on the General Manager’s Roll here. The completed form can be returned to Burnie City Council in person, via email (burnie@burnie.tas.gov.au), or via mail.
